With respect to the Supreme Court accounts, I have to inform Your Lordship that they had been audited by the temporary Clerk, Mr. Freire, each month since 1st January, 1880, but that on my calling the attention of the Acting Auditor General to the necessity of his own personal audit, they have been audited accordingly by the Acting Auditor General every month since the commencement of the year 1881.
